Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art | London Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso, which included the work L'Enfant À La Fontaine by Jules Adler. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,304.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jules Adler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scène De Jardin En Étéjules Adler; Summer Garden Scene; Signed And Dated 1923 Or 1929 Lower Right; Oil On Canvas, which sold at auction in June 2011 for EUR 4,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | London Including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso durch, in der auch die Arbeit L'Enfant À La Fontaine von Jules Adler zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.304,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Jules Adler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scène De Jardin En Étéjules Adler; Summer Garden Scene; Signed And Dated 1923 Or 1929 Lower Right; Oil On Canvas beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für EUR 4.750,00 versteigert wurde.
