Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Montreux Jazz Festival - 1983 by Keith Haring was sold in the More auction at Artcurial in Paris in April last year. The price achieved of EUR 1,050.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Montreux Jazz Festival - 1983 von Keith Haring wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion More bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.050,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
