This artwork by Lajos Kassák achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2006. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Composition sold for GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,466.65) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lajos Kassák have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dinamika in June this year with an auction result of EUR 52,920.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lajos Kassák erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Composition für GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.466,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dinamika im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.920,00.
