Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Photogramm' by László Moholy-Nagy. The price achieved of USD 17,640.00 (€ 14,663.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by László Moholy-Nagy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Em 1 Telephonbild (Em 1 Telephone Picture) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 6,087,500.00 (€ 5,754,868.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Photogramm' von László Moholy-Nagy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.640,00 (€ 14.663,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von László Moholy-Nagy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Em 1 Telephonbild (Em 1 Telephone Picture) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.087.500,00 (€ 5.754.868,60).
