Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Jeune femme blonde by Foujita. The price achieved of HKD 190,500.00 (€ 23,037.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Foujita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La fête d'anniversaire in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,096,250.00 (€ 8,002,380.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Jeune femme blonde von Foujita zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 190.500,00 (€ 23.037,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Foujita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La fête d'anniversaire im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.096.250,00 (€ 8.002.380,76).
