Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Faraway Land by Li Xiaoke was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) auction at Christies in Shanghai in October 2016. The price achieved of CNY 420,000.00 (€ 56,551.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Xiaoke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Homeland in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 2,360,000.00 (€ 275,710.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Faraway Land von Li Xiaoke wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 420.000,00 (€ 56.551,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Xiaoke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homeland im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.360.000,00 (€ 275.710,92).
