Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portfolio I, 1978 by Lotte Jacobi was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2009. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lotte Jacobi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Photogenic, c.1950s, which sold at auction in October this year for USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,538.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portfolio I, 1978 von Lotte Jacobi kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lotte Jacobi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Photogenic, c.1950s beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.538,23) versteigert wurde.
