A top price for Louis Thevenet - as previously expected
The work Interior by Louis Thevenet was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2000. The price achieved of NLG 14,042.40 (€ 6,739.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Interior is the most expensive artwork by Louis Thevenet that we have observed at auctions so far.
