Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Oeuvres Modernes sur papier, incluant des oeuvres de la collection Jean Bonna, which included the work La Danse by Marc Chagall. The price achieved of EUR 634,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Oeuvres Modernes sur papier, incluant des oeuvres de la collection Jean Bonna durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Danse von Marc Chagall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 634.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
