Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'ange blanc by Marc Chagall was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 239,400.00 (€ 224,704.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'ange blanc von Marc Chagall kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 224.704,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
