Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pivoines et fleurs variées au vase rose by Marcel Dyf was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Online auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,224.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcel Dyf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marché aux fleurs in May last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,879.45).

Die Arbeit Pivoines et fleurs variées au vase rose von Marcel Dyf wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.224,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcel Dyf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marché aux fleurs im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.879,45).
