Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cavallo e cavaliere by Marino Marini was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 26,000.00 – 36,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 27,720.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marino Marini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Idea Del Cavaliere in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 7,040,000.00 (€ 5,233,033.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cavallo e cavaliere von Marino Marini wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 26.000,00 – 36.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 27.720,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marino Marini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Idea Del Cavaliere im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.040.000,00 (€ 5.233.033,52).
