Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Brighton, Merseyside, From 'The Last Resort', 1983-1986 by Martin Parr was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,678.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Parr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Resort, 1983-86 in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 21,420.00 (€ 24,639.23).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.678,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
