Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,900.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mary Ellen Mark - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Clayton Moore - The Former Lone Ranger At His Home - Los Angeles, California, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,965.18).
