In May 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art (Day Sale), which included the work La Maison de Mimi Pinson by Maurice Utrillo. The auction ended at the price of USD 120,000.00 (€ 97,173.86), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Utrillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Maison de Mimi Pinson von Maurice Utrillo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 97.173,86) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
