Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Lapin Agile by Maurice Utrillo was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in February 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,713.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Lapin Agile von Maurice Utrillo wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.713,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
