Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Rue Saint-Vincent, Montmartre by Maurice Utrillo. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,448.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rue Saint-Vincent, Montmartre von Maurice Utrillo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 66.448,13) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
