Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vieux porche à Saint-Bernard by Maurice Utrillo was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in May this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 56,700.00 (€ 53,219.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vieux porche à Saint-Bernard von Maurice Utrillo wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 53.219,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
