Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Ackermann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Farbturm II in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 42,550.00.

Die Arbeit Begegnung am Strand von Max Ackermann kam im Juni 2020 bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.870,00 und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 55%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Ackermann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Farbturm II im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.550,00.
