Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,019.00 (€ 4,656.28). Admittedly, works by Max Yavno have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Muscle Beach in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 28,750.00 (€ 22,187.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Muscle Beach von Max Yavno kam im Februar 2003 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.019,00 (€ 4.656,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Max Yavno auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Muscle Beach im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.750,00 (€ 22.187,07).
