Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Topolino by Mimmo Rotella was sold in the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in April 2016. The price achieved of EUR 177,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mimmo Rotella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,082,500.00 (€ 1,387,090.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Topolino von Mimmo Rotella wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 177.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mimmo Rotella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.082.500,00 (€ 1.387.090,08).
