The work Everyday Life by Mr. Brainwash was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It achieved a price of HKD 378,000.00 (€ 45,702.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mr. Brainwash - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Charlie Chaplin Pink, which sold at auction in May 2010 for USD 122,500.00 (€ 99,037.92).

Die Arbeit Everyday Life von Mr. Brainwash kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 45.702,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Für andere Arbeiten von Mr. Brainwash mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Charlie Chaplin Pink beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für USD 122.500,00 (€ 99.037,92) versteigert wurde.
