Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work Caravan Chaos: Side 4 Panel 18 by Mr. Doodle for HKD 18,900.00 (€ 19,300.60). This price was achieved in the auction NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. Doodle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Kitty in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Caravan Chaos: Side 4 Panel 18 von Mr. Doodle für HKD 18.900,00 (€ 19.300,60) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. Doodle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Kitty im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
