In October last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Robert William Burke, which included the work Les dicts & faicts du chier cyre Gambette le Hutin by Nadar. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 191.00 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Nadar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alexandre Dumas in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 81,250.00 (€ 74,575.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Robert William Burke durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les dicts & faicts du chier cyre Gambette le Hutin von Nadar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 191,00 und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Nadar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alexandre Dumas im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 81.250,00 (€ 74.575,49).
