The work Tal by Neo Rauch was sold in the Post -War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in New York in May 2007. The »bidding war« ended at USD 768,000.00 (€ 570,876.38), 28% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Neo Rauch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bon Si, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 962,500.00 (€ 1,357,112.92).

Die Arbeit Tal von Neo Rauch wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Post -War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 768.000,00 (€ 570.876,38) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Neo Rauch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bon Si beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 962.500,00 (€ 1.357.112,92) versteigert wurde.
