In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Il Vaso by Nicola Simbari. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,801.35), 70% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicola Simbari - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Plage, which sold at auction in December 2014 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,989.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il Vaso von Nicola Simbari zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.801,35) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Nicola Simbari mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Plage beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 30.989,17) versteigert wurde.
