Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Veilleuse by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Christies in Sydney in November this year. The price achieved of USD 176,400.00 (€ 161,716.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Veilleuse von Pablo Picasso kam im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Sydney zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 176.400,00 (€ 161.716,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
