Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Annunciation by Patrick Hayman was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,224.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Hayman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fisherman, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,527.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Annunciation von Patrick Hayman wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.224,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Hayman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fisherman beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.527,45) versteigert wurde.
