Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dragon and Maiden; Descent of the Flying Machine (Beaked People); Still Life with Flowers; and Flight by Patrick Hayman was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,873.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Hayman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fisherman, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,527.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dragon and Maiden; Descent of the Flying Machine (Beaked People); Still Life with Flowers; and Flight von Patrick Hayman kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.873,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Hayman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fisherman beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.527,45) versteigert wurde.
