Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Girl with a Prophetic Bird; and Mother and Child by Patrick Hayman was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,297.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Patrick Hayman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Fisherman in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,527.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Girl with a Prophetic Bird; and Mother and Child von Patrick Hayman wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.297,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
