Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Jenkins achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Milan in December 2021. In the Contemporary Art | Milan auction, the work Phenomena Horn of Heaven sold for EUR 18,900.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Jenkins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Phenomena Arroyo Sounding in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 81,790.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Jenkins erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan wurde die Arbeit Phenomena Horn of Heaven für EUR 18.900,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Jenkins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Phenomena Arroyo Sounding im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 81.790,99).
