Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Hujar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit David Wojnarowicz Reclining (II) im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.500,00 (€ 136.340,03).
