Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Arbres En Fleurs, Maison Blanche by Pierre Bonnard was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 197,000.00 (€ 186,517.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Bonnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 19,570,000.00 (€ 17,553,143.78).

Die Arbeit Arbres En Fleurs, Maison Blanche von Pierre Bonnard kam im November 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 197.000,00 (€ 186.517,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Bonnard erzielen.
