Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Intérieur avec Marthe Bonnard by Pierre Bonnard was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,388.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Bonnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 19,570,000.00 (€ 17,553,143.78).

Die Arbeit Intérieur avec Marthe Bonnard von Pierre Bonnard wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.388,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Bonnard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.570.000,00 (€ 17.553.143,78).
