Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work La robe rouge by Pierre Bonnard for USD 126,000.00 (€ 118,265.44). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Bonnard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 19,570,000.00 (€ 17,553,143.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La robe rouge von Pierre Bonnard für USD 126.000,00 (€ 118.265,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Bonnard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Terrasse Ou Une Terrasse À Grasse im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 19.570.000,00 (€ 17.553.143,78).
