Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Rafael Canogar. The price achieved of GBP 12,562.50 (€ 13,949.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rafael Canogar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pintura no. 48 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 144,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rafael Canogar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.562,50 (€ 13.949,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rafael Canogar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pintura no. 48 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 144.000,00.
