Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nature morte aux biscuits by Raoul Dufy was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 22,680 (€ 19,822) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as USD 18,000 - 25,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000 (€ 2,075,171).

Die Arbeit Nature morte aux biscuits von Raoul Dufy wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.680 (€ 19.822) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000 – 25.000 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000 (€ 2.075.171).
