Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower by Raoul Milian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2014. The price achieved of USD 1,000.00 (€ 826.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Milian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2003 with an auction result of USD 13,145.00 (€ 10,958.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower von Raoul Milian kam im Dezember 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.000,00 (€ 826,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Milian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.145,00 (€ 10.958,73).
