The »bidding war« ended at USD 45,000.00 (€ 34,519.79), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rembrandt Bugatti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Babouin Sacré Hamadryas in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 2,770,000.00 (€ 2,519,556.12).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 45.000,00 (€ 34.519,79) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rembrandt Bugatti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Babouin Sacré Hamadryas im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.770.000,00 (€ 2.519.556,12).
