Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bucranio e aragosta by Renato Guttuso was sold in the Contemporary Art | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 47,880.00. Admittedly, works by Renato Guttuso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aranceto Notturno in March last year with an auction result of GBP 170,100.00 (€ 201,672.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bucranio e aragosta von Renato Guttuso wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 47.880,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Renato Guttuso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aranceto Notturno im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.100,00 (€ 201.672,69).
