This work of art by Robert Combas could be acquired at Christies in Paris in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Autoportrait (Self-Portrait) changed hands for GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,410.11) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Combas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pet Hit Parade ! - 1986 in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 319,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Combas konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Autoportrait (Self-Portrait) für GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.410,11) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Combas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pet Hit Parade ! - 1986 im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 319.000,00.
