The work Portugaise au potiron by Robert Delaunay was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 1,340,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Delaunay - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tour Eiffel, which sold at auction in February 2012 for GBP 3,737,250.00 (€ 4,462,375.53).

Die Arbeit Portugaise au potiron von Robert Delaunay kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.340.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Delaunay mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tour Eiffel beobachtet, die im Februar 2012 für GBP 3.737.250,00 (€ 4.462.375,53) versteigert wurde.
