Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Branchages by Rodolphe Bresdin was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,546.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodolphe Bresdin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Et In Arcadia Ego; And A Busy Continental Street Scene in September 2004 with an auction result of GBP 39,435.00 (€ 57,451.81).

Die Arbeit Branchages von Rodolphe Bresdin kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.546,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodolphe Bresdin erzielen.
