Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forgotten by Sahara Longe was auctioned at Christies in Brussels in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,574.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sahara Longe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Party Scene in October this year with an auction result of GBP 176,400.00 (€ 202,556.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forgotten von Sahara Longe kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Brüssel zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.574,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sahara Longe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Party Scene im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 176.400,00 (€ 202.556,21).
