Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sahara Longe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June this year. In the 20th Century to Now auction, the work Three Graces sold for GBP 40,640.00 (€ 47,297.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sahara Longe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Party Scene in October this year with an auction result of GBP 176,400.00 (€ 202,556.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sahara Longe erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century to Now wurde die Arbeit Three Graces für GBP 40.640,00 (€ 47.297,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sahara Longe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Party Scene im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 176.400,00 (€ 202.556,21).
