Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Deux femmes, l'une jambes écartées, l'autre à genoux by Salvador Dalí was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in February 2018. The auction ended at the price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,481.86), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Dalí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Paul Éluard in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,481,250.00 (€ 15,879,784.58).
