Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work East 26th Street by Sandra Weiner for USD 2,820.00 (€ 3,135.77). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Sandra Weiner have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2001 by the work East 26th Street at USD 4,700.00 (€ 5,226.29).
