Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composizione by Sergio Romiti was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2008. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergio Romiti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composizione, which sold at auction in November 2000 for ITL 28,200,000.00 (€ 25,948.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composizione von Sergio Romiti kam im November 2008 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergio Romiti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composizione beobachtet, die im November 2000 für ITL 28.200.000,00 (€ 25.948,93) versteigert wurde.
