This artwork by Sergio Romiti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Composizione rosa sold for EUR 9,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergio Romiti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composizione, which sold at auction in November 2000 for ITL 28,200,000.00 (€ 25,948.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergio Romiti erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Composizione rosa für EUR 9.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergio Romiti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composizione beobachtet, die im November 2000 für ITL 28.200.000,00 (€ 25.948,93) versteigert wurde.
