In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session auction, the work Une Pipe: 1 changed hands for USD 18,900.00 (€ 16,744.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sherrie Levine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fountain (After Marcel Duchamp) in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 962,500.00 (€ 778,469.75).
